What to bring on a Philthy Lou Sportfishing Charter?
~Drinks, Food and Snacks

~Sunscreen protection (lotion,
hats, etc)
~Depending upon forecast:
windbreaker/jacket, rain gear and spare clothing
~Motion sickness
medicine/preventatives
~Empty cooler to transport any
catch you would like to keep
What is provided for fishing
tackle?
~All
tackle, bait and gear are provided for the trip. You may bring a special
lure/tackle on the trip, if so the captain/boat is
not responsible for
lost or broken of personal lure/tackle.
Cancellations
~Charter
trips
must be cancelled two weeks prior to sailing to get a refund of the deposit.
Trips cancelled with less than two weeks
notice will result in loss of the deposit. Only the Captain may cancel a trip
due to weather or otherwise. Trips cancelled by the Captain will be rescheduled
at a mutually acceptable date or the payment will be refunded.
Directions
~From Boston
(approximately 67 miles): Take Route 93 South (Southeast Expressway). At Exit 7,
bear left and proceed on Route 3 South to the Sagamore Bridge. Cross over the bridge and take the first
exit right. Turn left at the traffic light. Follow Sandwich Road along the Cape
Cod Canal to the end at the Bourne Bridge Rotary. From the rotary, exit at Route
28 South to Falmouth. Proceed 3.3 miles, then exit right at Pocasset/Wings Neck. Follow Barlows Landing Road 1.7 miles to Pocasset
Center. At the stop sign, turn left and proceed on Shore Road 1.0 mile. Turn
right at the Marine Center entrance.
~From Providence (approximately
62 miles): Take Interstate 195 East to Route 495 South to Route 25 South.
Continue over the Bourne Bridge. From the
Bourne Bridge rotary, exit at Route
28 South to Falmouth. Proceed 3.3 miles, then exit right at Pocasset/Wings Neck.
Follow Barlows Landing Road 1.7 miles to Pocasset Center. At the stop sign, turn
left and proceed on Shore Road 1.0 mile. Turn right at the Marine Center
entrance.
