Captain Phil Moore (aka Philthy) is a licensed USCG 50 ton master (and first aid/CPR certified) has been fishing the waters of Cape Cod for twenty years.  Philthy has fished for everything from Scup to Sharks with the majority of his catches being striped bass.  My fishing experience started in the late 80's with a good friend who had purchased a bass boat. During my first trip I was hooked.  I fell in love with being on the water and targeted anything that chased my hook.  The following year I purchased my first boat, a 17' bow rider that fished the lakes of Massachusetts to the shoals of Billingsgate. Now years later I'm sharing my love of fishing with others!

Who is Philthy Lou?  As the story goes, Captain Phil acquired the nickname Philthy in his younger years for reasons we do not need to go into details.....  When he met his wife, (Suzanne), he started calling her Louanne or Lou for short and the name stuck.  So there it is, Philthy Lou.
